I voted.

Got my little flag sticker and everything.

It took longer than I thought it would because they changed my polling place. So, I went to where I *thought* I was supposed to vote, found it closed, had to come home and call the County Clerk's office, and then head back out again. (Apparently, I wasn't the only one who didn't know about this change, though... there were lots of tracks in the fresh snow going through the church parking lot...)

I heard on the radio that turnout is low due to the weather.

Seriously?

This is Illinois, for God's sake... you people should be used to a little snow. Besides, it's not like there's a blizzard or anything. It's not even coming down anymore, and the temperature is in the 30's.

Get out there and vote, Illinois!

The future of the Republic is at stake.
